Management Team

Craig Delger - President

As President and Co-Founder of InfoGears - Craig Delger provides clients an expertise culled from over 14 years of experience with some of the world's premier technology companies.

Prior to returning to Bozeman and founding the company, Craig served as Director of End User Marketing and Business Development Manager for Red Hat, Inc., the leader in development, deployment and management of Linux and open source solutions for Internet infrastructure. Craig’s creative and technical directives for Red Hat’s marketing campaigns resulted in a substantial increase in the company’s partner and developer customer base – furthering Red Hat’s successful public offering in August 1999.

Craig’s work history also includes:

  • Corporate Account Executive with Seattle-based Visio Corporation, which was acquired by Microsoft.
  • Project Manager and Lead Developer working with Microsoft's Internal Technology Group.(ITG).
  • Chief Technology Officer for Film.com, a streaming media company that was acquired by Seattle-based RealNetworks.
  • Software Developer for Seattle-based Wall Data, a leader in PC-to-Host communications software acquired by NetManage, Inc.

Craig is a graduate of Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, and has received extensive technical, graduate, and executive training from Weinburg and Weinburg, Duke's Fuqua school of Business, University of Montana, and Sun Microsystems to name just a few.


Rusty Conover - Chief Technology Officer

As CTO and Co-Founder of InfoGears – Rusty Conover is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of the technology that makes InfoGears an emerging leader in the business automation marketplace.

Prior to founding InfoGears with Craig Delger – Rusty’s work history included a lead developer role with Zoot Enterprises, an enterprise-level financial service provider.

Rusty’s innovative work in the engineering and design of Zoot's distributed processing platform and web infrastructure was key to the successful deployment of projects for top financial institutions in the US (Including Wells Fargo, LendingTree.com and Bank of America).

Prior to his role at Zoot, Rusty was one of the founders of West Yellowstone Web Works. He designed the network infrastructure and developed custom provisioning and management software. During his tenure at West Yellowstone Web Works, Rusty deployed a commercial grade wireless data network covering 30 square miles of mountainous terrain. This network is unique to the region such that anyone can use it at no-charge for local bound traffic, and customers pay electronically for Internet access. This network is self-maintaining and is in continuous operation.

Rusty is a graduate of Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, is a regular contributor to Open Source projects, and has given numerous presentations about emerging technology.


Bridget Cavanaugh -- Marketing Communications and Public Relations

As strategic marketing consultant to InfoGears, Bridget Cavanaugh serves as brand steward and public relations director. A fourteen-year veteran of high technology PR and advertising, Bridget is responsible for InfoGear’s corporate positioning, brand management, executive visibility and national and local publicity efforts. She is founder and president of Cavanaugh Public Relations.

Prior to returning to Montana in 2001, Bridget was senior vice president for Ogilvy Public Relations’ technology practice in Denver. Technology strategist and brand champion, Bridget is an active and results-driven specialist. Her strength is positioning start-up companies for leadership by helping them set the agenda and connecting clients to a network of influential media, thought leaders, conference producers and venture capitalists.

While at Ogilvy, she managed the publicity efforts for one of the telecommunications industry’s most high-profile mergers -- Qwest and USWest. Bridget also actively managed PR and marketing communications programs for clients such as Qwest, TeraBeam Networks, Nortel Networks, eBags, Corvis, YottaYotta, and the Denver Metro Chamber Convergence Corridor.

Bridget joined Ogilvy Public Relations from Dallas-based WebLink Wireless where she was director of marketing communications. Previously, she dedicated more than nine years working for high-tech public relations agencies such as BBDO in Seattle and MCC in Dallas. Bridget received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Montana State University.

Bridget is a frequent guest lecturer at Bozeman’s high technology incubator, TechRanch, as well as other regional events such as T2M in Salt Lake City. She has attended advanced leadership training with the London School of Business. Bridget is actively involved in regional networking events including Denver’s Start-Up Basecamp, Denver Telecom Professionals, Denver High Tech Council and Bozeman-based Pioneer Entrepreneurs.


Rich Semenik -- Business Advisor

Rich Semenik is Dean of the College of Business at Montana State University. He is also founder and co-director of the College’s Center for Entrepreneurship for the New West. Before coming to Montana State, Rich was head of the Marketing Department at the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Rich’s expertise is in the areas of marketing strategy, advertising and branding.

Corporations and organizations have asked him to deliver speeches and seminars on these topics across the United States and in Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, Mexico, Germany, France, Belgium and Scotland. Rich has consulted with a diverse set of organizations including IBM, Leo Burnett Advertising, Premier Resorts International, LigoCyte Pharmaceuticals, and the VanGogh Museum (Amsterdam).

He has co-founded two companies both of which of were ultimately acquired. Rich has published more than 50 articles and books on advertising and branding strategy. The most recent book, Advertising and Integrated Brand Promotion, is the leading text in the area used in over 400 colleges and universities in the U.S., Canada and Europe. Rich received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, an M.B.A from Michigan State University, and his Ph.D. from the Ohio State University. In 1999, Rich was asked to join the National Board of Directors of the American Advertising Museum and in 2000 he was asked to join the Industry Relations Board of the American Academy of Advertising.
